When amalgam is really banned in the future - what next? Resin composites are too technique sensitive and expensive, conventional glass ionomers suffer bulk fractures, and resin-modified glass ionomers suffer severe wear over time. New developments in this sector are enhanced glass ionomers with improved chemical background, such as Chemfil Rock. Due to a faster setting reaction, early abrasion and fracture behavior should be improved. This webinar covers the aspect of real amalgam replacement and the advantages of a new glass ionomer.
